Spending time with the family on the holiday

On Saturday night, we gather at my sisters house. My brother wanted to test his aquitments for the new year bash. We bought drinks, and made a nice dinner after. We went to the living room and started dancing and later in the evening we started singing Karaoke. I had so much fun the only problem was the I couldn't really dance much. Since I had to run to the bathroom everything I stood up to dance. Everyone was looking out for me. They wanted to make sure I was doing well since I am so far along the pregnancy. I laugh and cry so much from everyone trying to sing karaoke. Even my mother was trying to sing it was so funny. I really enjoy the time I spend with my family this weekend.

Noche Buena

In my culture we make a big Xmas Eve Dinner. And the whole family comes together and eat,sing and drink. This day we make Turkey,Lasana,Pastelitos,potatoes salad,green salad, cookies, white rice,Yellow rice, chips and sodas. The kids run around all everning and play games. The adults sing Kareoke and dance. And we get to catup with relatives who comes from far to visit. This year only my sister and I went to my mothers house. My brother was driving from Florida to Boston so i didnt make it in still late on on Xmas Eve. The next day we gather at my sisters house, we had a blast. We sing kariokie, Open the gifts with the kids. And it was such a nice time with the whole family.

Looking for the Babys Crib

The day after the big storm here in Boston. I went with my friend looking for the baby's crib. It was a mission, we went store by store and nothing. At one store we went after we purchase the crib, the warehouse workers came back and said this crib been recall. I was so sad, because I really wanted my baby's crib.Then we went to the mall and there we saw another crib this one was white. But I didn't really like it, not the crib I was looking for. After a while I give up it was useless everywhere I went I couldn't find the crib the I wanted. After we were done with our shopping, I drop off my friend home. Then I went straight to another store the I needed to return a double gift the was given to me at my baby shower. When I went to the store after returning the gift, I went to the baby section and there it was. The last crib in the shelf as if it was waiting for me. Just the crib I wanted and on top of that It was on sale. What a bargain I got on the baby's crib? It was exacly what I was looking for but better.

My last ultrasound

On my last ultrasound the pictures came so clear the were able to see her noise,Eyes and lips. I think she is going to look like her daddy. It was so exciting to see her in there she is bigger and fuller. She is so big the she didnt fit in the picture they took. It was exciting to see my 5yrs old niece open up her eyes wide and when amaze by the picture of the ultrasound on the Tv monitor. It was a very exciting day for me and for my nice.

Feeling a somewhat worry about the baby

Lately, I have been feeling worry about me and the baby. Am afriad to get postpartum depresion. I been getting alot of crazy thoughts in my head. I keep thinking an I going to be a good mother. Will my child love me?? and even If I get postpartum depresion would I harm my baby. I dont want that but I heard so much stories and the news about mothers harming their child. I dont want to blackout and so something crazy. I think I should just keep my mind busy and think positive thoughts. I have talk to my husband and my family about my concerns they told me I am going too ahead of myself. And the I have my husband and my family there the I shouldnt worry because they are going to be close to me. And after writing this post I know things will be ok. I guess sometimes we need to get things out of our heads to see things better and brighter.

Baby Shower

This past weekend my family had a surprise Baby Shower for me. My husband was very good he told me the night before the we had to go to his job Xmas party. And silly me I believe it, he even when and extended the next week we had to go to a little party. The day of the baby shower I got up very cranky. My husband left the house early to get a head start on the baby shower decorations. But I didn't imagine the baby shower was on that day. I got home about 3hrs later I asked him where were you? and he quickly response I was helping a friend move. Later that day, I went out to get somethings done.When I got home we started to get ready for the Xmas party. I notice it was getting late and his friend was suppose to call to come to the Xmas party with us. Then when we are getting ready to leave my mother called and wanted me to go by her house to eat something special she did for me and my husband. I really didn't want to go since were running late for the Xmas party. Finally I decided to go by my mother and when I open the door I got surprise with a baby shower.

Cant find the right spot to sleep

Lastnight was another sleepless night. I got crankie, and couldnt find the right spot to sleep. My back was eakee and I had a pain under my ribs. People told me the things are going to get worst.This morning, am tire,crankie and need some sleep. I twist and turn and got up about 6x. I was so un conforable the I got so crankie the I wanted to cry. What really made me feel better was to know the everything is all worth it for Angelina. Today I plan to take a walk around the block. And do somethings around the house to get really tire to just get in my bed and fall asleep. Hopefully this will work. Wish me luck.

ThanksGiving

Happy ThanksGiving everyone! My Thanksgiving was great. Since I am pregnant I eat such much. And anything I wanted I had. It was kind of funny because everyone kept asking me if I wanted pie,cake and cheesecake. The kids were so excited to see me, they wanted to say hi to Angelina. Everyone was there except my brother and his wife in which they live in Florida. They were well miss, we did spoke to him over the phone. Dinner was great the turkey was very tasty. The potatoe salad was great I couldnt get enough of it.

Now 7 months and still waiting for my bundle of Joy.

This month I am 7 months pregnant after so many years of waiting. I found out we are having a baby girl. I am so excited, I cant wait to see her. I have not buy any clothes for her yet. My mother and my sister advised me not to instill the baby shower. This weekend I couldn't help my self and I bought her 2 baby body suit. It been very exciting, the other day I saw her move. It kind of scared me a little since I can actually see her move. Everyday the goes by is another day closer to my due date. I am some what scared, since people always things the kind of scare you. I had some test done this past Friday and someone there scared me. They said the someone die in the hospital because they took too long to do a C-section to his grand Daughter. I think if you don't have something nice to say then don't say it at all. God willing everything will be fine.

Blessing From God

After 8yrs of marriage, my husband and I tried for so long to get pregnant. We had treatments and nothing happen. We had 3 miscarriage the first miscarriage I didn't know I was pregnant. The 2ND one didn't even last a month. This year things didn't started great. My doctor found 2 cyst effecting my ovaries. In which he thought he would have to remove my ovaries. I was devastated with the news. I went home and cried for days. I spoke to my mom and told her what the Doctor said. She told me the on her next trip to the Caribbeans she was going to take me to have a specialist see me there. After a few months, I told my cousin who knows a lot about natural medicine, gave me a recipe to do. All natural, consist of blended garlic, and the crystals of aloe plant. As you can imagine this was not very pleasant to drink. He told me this was so the cyst can disappear. After weeks of taking this drink, I went to the Doctor and had some more test done. According to the Doctor one cyst completely disappear and the other one was so small the on my next menstrual cycle it would disappear. I felt so excited and relieve about the news. I spoke to my mom and told her the new results. She was very excited for my, But told me " you still coming with my to the Caribbeans to get your self check there." In early may of 2008 we took the trip to the Caribbeans. When we arrive, we called the doctor there but he wasn't going to be able to see me since I went for so short notice. My aunt who is also well known for home remedies. Prepared a mixer of natural herbs, red wine and natural root. A week later when I came back to the States. I started drinking the mixer, it was kind of sweet and it didn't have too bad of a taste to it. After a couple of months I miss my period and went to the Doctor and I found out I was expecting my first child.
